Do you with the sole purpose have to summarise the plot? I would assume that you also have to discuss the themes, etc, so I would write a brief summary of the plot (man creates monster, abandon it, world turns it angry and violent, etc). Then I would mention that it is a cautionary tale that warn about the dangerous pursuit of knowledge and playing God (maybe formulate reference to galvanism here). The genres of the novel - Romantic, Gothic and science-fiction - should be discussed, followed by the allusions to Prometheus and Paradise Lost.
Given that it's individual half a page, I guess you don't really need to go too surrounded by depth. Just enough to show that you know what the novel is about.
