I personally think Twilight is a touch 4 older ppl, i mean breaking dawn?? so self say the percy jackson series, the egypt game by ziplha keatley snyder, the postcard by tony abbott (for mystery), and flipped, by wendlein van draanen.

its about a girl whos mom drops her off at her aunt and uncles sheep farm and they are a religious cult but it is appropriate and very good

All the Janet Evanovich books are great for younger kids close to that. I myself am 14 and am in love with them. :]
