why doesn't oedipus remember that he murdered his father? thats what i dont get! Indeed it be rash anger that led to him unknowingly kill his concrete father, King Laius, at the crossroads. why does oedipus kill the man in the crossroads (his real father) .what is the explanation he did this murder?? he thought it was a man traveling...why kill him? It was self-defense. They get into a fight and Oedipus had to kill him or he'd own been killed himself.Or at least that's how I remember it.
