And what's the difference between the Kindle that has international and U.S. than the just plain U.S. one?

International edition means you can access 3G make friends outside the U.S. This is the only difference.

The international edition means you can still wallow in the free 3G wireless when you travel outside the U.S. The international wireless now covers over 100 countries, so you can use the international Kindle to check for email or search on Wikipedia if you are, say, contained by Europe.

I own the Kindle 2 and I approaching it very much. It is better than Sony Reader because Amazon provide good content support, and the number of books available in Kindle format is kept on increasing (right very soon there are over 350,000 Kindle books). Sony Reader, however, many users complain that it is difficult to find suitable books, and books on it are more expensive than the Kindle. Other benefits of the Kindle over Sony Reader include the free wireless internet access, and the text-to-speech function.
If you need to read PDF near charts and graphics, you may want to go for the Kindle DX. Read this review and you should be able to decide which one to find:

The international Kindle means you can have free wireless even you're outside of the United States. It is a good to enjoy function.
