Have you used an e-reader? What do you presume of them? Are they worth the money?
Answers:
I'm a Kindle 2 owner, and I love it very much. It fills my waiting time every day. Before I catch the Kindle 2, waiting time like the time when I'm waiting for my friend or waiting for shuttle bus is simply wasted, now it is simple that I single need to bring the handy Kindle 2 along with me. Another function that I like the most is the text-to-speech function, which vehicle I can use the Kindle 2 to "read" books when I'm doing some housework or on my step machine, just like how I listen to music on ipod... It really help me utilize my time and get better efficiency.
And indeed, books in Kindle format provided by Amazon is cheaper than the actual books. That's another grounds why I get it, it can save me quite abundantly of money in long term. There is a good article here conversation about this:

BTW, I remember I read this review at that time, before I get my Kindle 2:

Hope it help.
I have never used an e-reader but instead bought an ipod touch and downloaded Stanza for free (only works if you have a wireless internet connection). Ipod touches are cheaper, smaller, have multiple functions, and are better merit for money.
Granted, the screen is very small, but you can resize the text to suit and I never give my ipod behind now.

What available e-book reader would you recommend?
I'm interested in purchasing an e-book reader but with the current lack of rise and fall I feel it's hard to make a proper choice. Waiting for different models (such as the rumored iread) is an option. And extra functionality is appreciated but not necessary, I will only use it to read. |...
