Superhero, Fantasy, or Sci-fi book suggestions (peferablly for kindle)?

I am looking for some good books to get for my Kindle. Here are a few examples of the books that I hold already read and really enjoyed.

Superheroes - Humor, Horror, and Heroes, Playing for Keeps.
Fantasy - A Song of Ice and Fire.
Sci-fi - World War Z, Resistance: The Gathering Storm.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, Thank you.

I'm not sure if there's a kindle edition of this series, but even if there isn't, I'd recommend it for your purchase!

Since you obviously savour epic tales (Song of Ice and Fire), I would recommend Otherland (it's a series) by Tad Williams. It's a sci-fi series, but Tad usually does Fantasy novels. The first book is "City of Golden Shadow" or something like that. There are a total of 4 books contained by the series, each averaging 8OO-ish pages. It's awesome.
I don't use a kindle so I cannot say what is available for one.
