Hello, I have looked at the Kindle and I'm quite inquisitive.
Firstly, can you use the Amazon Kindle as a wireless modem. That means nouns it to your computer and accessing the net from your Kindle. If it works, how is it?
Next, can the Kindle go to any text-based site, or is it lately Wikipedia?
Can the Kindle go to Gmail to check Mail, and can it be used to chat on Gmail?
Are there any other cool features of the Kindle? Please mention them!
And can you read books on the Kindle when it's dark?

I know there is a book call 'How to Use the Amazon Kindle for Email & Other Cool Tricks (by Stephen Windwalker)--so there must be a way to tap into other features... the funny slice is that his book is available on the Kindle, so you might have to buy the thing to find out!! :)
Also, as far as I know, there is no pay for lighting capabilities--but, honestly, it's made to be as much of a classic book as possible, and it aims to preserve battery at all costs.
