it is fine to tuch them as soon as they are born ..you should wait about 10 or 15 min though to give the mom time to win her self back to gether so she won't get upset..as long as your doe is not overly protective you should be fine however if she trys to attack you you may want to put a drop of vanilla on each bunies guide and on the moms chin and front paws so she can't smell you on the bunnies. Check on the litter occasionally but don't touch the baby rabbits until they're 8 weeks feeble. Mother rabbits have a tendency to abandon and sometimes even exterminate their young that don't smell quite right.
To be safe, don't touch until they're 8 weeks older. But you can start checking on the litter when the babies are 3 weeks old.
Just resist the urge to touch!
