How long afer mu rabbit kindle can i touch the babies. do you enjoy experience near rabbits?

Answers:
don't touch em for 6 wks, even they are bring under control, rabbits are extreme when it comes to babies, if they get a wierd scent on em, even though it is yours, they will dissown them, killing them, leave em be, and they will be fine, I use to block em rotten from all other rabbits too,
I handle the kit from the day they are born. You have to check to make sure within are no dead or deformed kits in the nestbox. These entail to be removed. I have been raising rabbits for 16 years and I bar all the kits from day one.
Try and do it at alike time everyday. Give the doe a little treat and remove the box from her cage. Check each apparatus to make sure it is round and full looking (means they are being fed). Gently pet each one and return it to the nestbox. Return the box to the doe's enclose.

Kits that are handled daily are much more used to people than ones that are not touched at a childlike age.
this also insures that the kits are being fed and care for by the doe.

Good luck with your new litter. Raising rabbits is a fun and rewarding hobby. Source(s): Breeder of show, pet and meat rabbits for 16 years

Hi!
I am a rabbit breeder and have owned rabbits most of my life.
I recently have a litter of babies. You can handle them right away IF you follow these rules:

-only ONE person should handle them until they are 3 weeks mature.

-wash your hands thoroughly with soap and wash the soap rotten and obviously dry hands well. And don't touch other pets after wash hands.

-Then pet the mommy rabbit to get her scent on your hands.

Handle the babies briefly on a daily basis to check they are being fed. They will have little pot bellies :)

At 10 days they will start on their eyes. At 3 weeks they will start coming out of the nest box and by 6 weeks you can start weaning them from their parents. By 8 weeks they should be fully independent, eating solid food and be in a separate cage than the mother rabbit.
Remember NO fruits/veggies/etc.. until 4 months or elder. Only rabbit pellets and of course Mommy's milk!

Like off-brand, cheaper ones. Before I got my Kindle, I looked into other ones. Anything other than the Kindle won't be that good, that's what I thought. I completed up buying the Kindle, but did some looking around first. The prices aren't actually that bad! Source(s): http://www.gotcheapkindle.com/
