Should I procure a Kindle or netbook (first)?

I've been wanting both for a long time. I have a laptop but it's 19" and a pain to lug around.
I've required an e-reader for many years and have patiently waited for the Kindle to come down surrounded by price. I read ebooks on my Blackberry but it bothers my eyes if I do it too long.
The ones I'm looking at are the same price, and I'm pretty sure I'll buy both eventually. BTW this is part bday money and part saved-up money.

I'll vote for the Kindle. I suggest you to read this thorough review, and you should know the benefits after getting the Kindle, to help you decide:

And always check here for the most modern best price of the Kindle:

tough choice. it pretty much boils down to portability and functionality. with the ebook reader, you can enjoy your txt documents and such with a long battery life. however, beside a netbook, you can have your books and txt documents and also do much more, however the battery life wont be as great.

imho, i would prefer the netbook over the reader. simply for the certainty that with a negligible price difference, you would be able to achieve more out of the netbook (assuming outlet availability isn't an issue). this, however, may not be the case for you. would you mind using your laptop if you needed to on trips or away from home for extended periods? then the reader may be purely the fit.
Get a tablet. Then it can double as an e-reader.
Kindle 2 great

You can buy a cheap one at:

I'll voice get the Kindle because it can save you money on buying books, so you can save money much faster to take the netbook eventually. Even if you don't want to spend further on buying books, you can just get some free books for the Kindle to read. There are many dear books among the free Kindle books for you to choose from.

I remember I read these reviews when I decided to get my Kindle 2:

And as you know, the Kindle 2 has a moment ago dropped in price, so take the chance to procure one.

Hope it helps :) Source(s): http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00154J… (Kindle 2 sales page)
I say the Kindle, get it and you won't regret.

I love my Kindle 2 especially much. Since Amazon provide books for the Kindle cheaper than actual books, it has saved me quite profusely of money. Right now I've read over 10 books with the Kindle, and I really like the concept that I can bring and store all the books with the handy device. Besides, it uses the e-ink technology, so even I read next to the device for long hours, I don't feel tired. My only complaint is the white case, right in a minute all the Kindles are in white color... I think it will be cool if I can hold a black or deep blue color Kindle ;)

I'll suggest you to read this review from a top reviewer, it outlines quite a lot of benefits of the Kindle and also why it is worth especially at the shutting of the review:
