yes it comes with the charger and book cover, it also already has your account info on it so as soon as you plug it surrounded by or charge it you can go on and start ordering stuff on it as long as you have a credit card save with them which you can do online. It takes SD and SDHC cards so if you want some extra room you may want to buy one (they go surrounded by the back by the battery)
