Does anyone own a "Kindle" from Amazon?

If you do, what do you like or dislike about it?
Answers:
I own the Kindle 2, so let me give you some of my opinion. I've to say I I love it! I think I've read over 20 books with my Kindle, no glitches so far!

One of the reason I love my Kindle is that it has helped me improve a great deal on my efficiency and utilize my time. Before I have the Kindle, waiting time like when I'm waiting for friends or waiting for shuttle bus or some item like that is simply wasted. Now I only need to bring the Kindle 2 along with me, and all my favorite books are inside it. Another item I like the most is the text-to-speech function, which means I can "read" books without even holding or looking at the Kindle. Now I approaching to use this function when I've myself busy on some boring things, say when I'm on the step machine or doing some housework...

I like reading and at the starting point I missed a bit on the feeling of reading books. But now I love to hold the Kindle, the e-ink seems to work thoroughly well, and it is really like reading books... Now I often read beside the Kindle for several hours but I don't feel tired...

And just in suitcase you don't know, Kindle books, magazines and newspapers are cheaper than the actual paper altered copy. Amazon also provides quite a lot free or very cheap books. I remember I read these reviews more or less the benefits of the Kindle when I decided to buy it:

Finally, you are lucky that Amazon just announced a price slash on the Kindle 2. It is now selling $60 cheaper than the price I get my Kindle, so it is a good chance for you to get one...

Hope it help :) Source(s): http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00154J… (Kindle 2 after price slash)
I own one. I like the instant gratification of downloads (you buy and it's at hand, automatically). I like the dictionary feature, and the online abilities (you can do some uncomplicated web browsing with the thing, which few folks mention). I definitely like the portability and the fact that I don't hold to add to the gazillions of books already on my shelves in order to read a tentative release. I like changing the font sizes, because sometimes I'm reading into the early morning hours and my eyes are purely beat. I also like that I can delete books from the device and they're archived at Amazon for future download if I want to return to them.

I desire there was a way to set out titles in a custom directory type structure (fiction, chick lit, whatever you want). I wish, too, that I could redeploy the brightness sometimes, because I'm not always loving the glare of my mighty bright light point. Finally, I wish the book availability was more exhaustive -- as in, I want more, more, more. :)

Overall, I'm blissful with the investment.
I love my Kindle 2 very much. If you are thinking of buying a Kindle, I'll say-so get it and you won't regret. Since Amazon provide books for the Kindle cheaper than actual books, it has saved me moderately a lot of money. Right now I've read over 10 books with the Kindle, and I really similar to the idea that I can bring and store all the books next to the handy device. Besides, it uses the e-ink technology, so even I read with the device for long hours, I don't feel tired. My only complaint is the white casing, right now all the Kindles are in white color... I focus it will be cool if I can have a black or deep blue color Kindle ;)

I'll suggest you to read this review from a top reviewer, it outlines quite deeply of benefits of the Kindle and also why it is worth especially at the end of the review:

Hope this helps.
