"why is it easier to start a fire near kindling to some extent than near life-size sticks and logs of alike helpful of woo?
Answers:
small dry kindling
The wood does not directly burn. The wood must be converted to combustible vapors that are burned (hot flame). A game can drive off combustible vapors from a few sheets of burning paper which can then fry a twig hot enough to produce combustible vapors but a large log or stick absorbs adjectives the heat without giving off plenty vapors to sustain a fire.
There is more surface area to burn, and it is easier for the air (oxygen) to the point of the flame.
