Kindle buying/using tips?
I've been looking into it and I think it is good but $$$. Any thoughts on more human being available and prices falling. Do you think they are fad,
I can't find one for a reasonable price anywhere!??

I ruminate online readers are here to stay BUT they are expensive and (I believe) the various types are incompatible (i don't think you can read Amazon books beside a sony reader or books from sony with amazon's kindle reader).
I think this could see something very similar to what happen with videos some years ago - 2 incompatible systems competing and both coming down in price until one format pushed the other stale the market. Unless you really want to have the latest "gadget" I would hang about for the price to drop.
I was thinking the same thing. What if it's only a fad that'll go away soon? Then I don't want to waste my money. I'm only sticking to old time books myself.
