Is the Amazon Kindle any polite?
I love to read and its hard to pack all of my books, and everything else around in my pod, so it it worth buying?

I have seen but never used a Kindle but I own the Sony PRS-505 and love it! It holds 160 books plus many many more with a memory card. I know the Kindle is wireless and you can acquire books without needing a connection but the reader you use only like itunes. Install the program once which includes the sony ebook store, then look at all paperwork, add them to your cart, purchase them, and then download them. This go super fast and puts them in the library and then merely hook up the usb to the reader and the computer and you drag the books to the reader. It takes minimal minutes to do. Also you the reader accepts different formats too. You can gain books at the ebook sony store or other ebook stores on the internet. You get 100 free classic books when you buy it and publishers offer free books too to get you to try their books. Also they enjoy many sale books and you can search books by category, price, and ratings. It is so glib to use, magnify it 3 times the font. Since you can download hundreds of books at a time, I doubt you run out on vacation of books so the wireless connection the kindle has is nice if you call for a book suddenly somewhere but I doubt I run out of books and ever need a random book emergently. It is not like a computer blind so it is easy on the eyes too.The battery lasts 7500 page and easy charges by hooking the usb to it and the computer as you surf the net it charges by itself )no need to get to the sony software to charge it). You can also buy separately an AC adaptor to charge it and also a light (most readers wont have a table lamp because they drain your battery), but I bought a cheap book light for 4 bucks which is fine in cars or dark spots. It is terribly thin, easy to hold and has a leather satchel and you can order other leater cases in cute colors and have them engraved if you want. I also is an MP3 player and holds black and white photos if you should want pictures on a reader (which I did not since I want it for reading).
It is passageway cheaper than the kindle too. So consider this when you decide but make sure you check out the kindle too, cuz i never have in fact used one and am just sharing with you my experience.

I absolutely love my kindle, but I do infer that it is a big investment. I would suggest that you go to the kindle section of amazon.com (kindle.com) and look at the books offfered on the kindle.
