Can you use the alien Kindle 2 as a schoolbook editor?
The keyboard is there and I know you can take proceedings inside a book but can you actually open a word document or a txt file and stifle it? Can you use this to write 3-4 pages worth of text and then convert it to something a PC will certificate?

Apparently not! The keyboard seems to be just for 'annotating'. I don't see any expertise to upload from the Kindle.
You can do that with a PDA though, like a Palm. They even sell little fold-up keyboards for the purpose.
