Would you acquire a Kindle or a Sony Reader if you could download adjectives accounts you already own?
If there was a way for me to capture all the books I already own onto a Kindle or Sony Reader I would get one in a minute. What about you?
(I just want to know if you would, I don't want to know why it isn't an option or how they would do it if they chose to do so)

Definitely not. I like owning a real book, not a virtual one.
And why would I want to re-buy everything I already own? It's ridiculous.
I wouldn't. Seeing the books that mean something to me on a shelf is a bearing of thinking about them and their relationship to one another. Having the title in front of me sometimes reminds me of something I wouldn't have thought of otherwise; it jog the memory.
Even if they have all my books, they'd charge me $10 a pop to re-own them. Having them all in appendage would be nice, but $10,000 to buy what I already have? No thanks.
This is what kept the music industry going - sell vinyl, later the same thing on tape, next again on CD.
Oh, get my current books for free? Then certainly. I'd still save my book shelves full, but there are plenty of volumes I'd prune out to make room for more books. The Kindle would pay for itself surrounded by not buying new book shelves.
