Can Kindle 3G nouns be used to access gmail within Canada?

I hear that one can use the free 3G connection of the Amazon Kindle for certain, fixed internet access within the USA. I've heard that it works to access the mobile performance of gmail (m.gmail.com). Before deciding whether to purchase a 3G Kindle, I'd like to know whether this is true for Canada as economically. I have heard conflicting answers. One character said that Kindle's internet access via 3G within Canada was restricted to Wikipedia with the sole purpose. Someone at Amazon support told me that it should work fine to access gmail in Canada. I want to know for sure. Do any Canadians here hold a 3G Kindle? And can you use it to try accessing m.gmail.com and see if it works within Canada? Thanks very much!

Answers: Yes, it can. And the free internet is hardly fixed. You can go on any site you want. The only article you can`t do on it is watch youtube videos or do other things that require a flashplayer.
I freshly bought my Kindle today and it works great. I was doing some research earlier I bought it and people were complaining going on for how slow it is. Let me tell you, that`s hardly true. It`s a BIT slow, but seeing how it`s free, I don`t see it as something worth complaining something like. (I guess some people are just too impatient to linger a few seconds longer for a page to load.) I be thinking I would end up bringing the Kindle back to the store because populace were complaining about the slowness, but I honestly don`t suppose I could`ve made a wiser or more satisfying purchase. Free internet for life! :)

Just remember, whether you aren`t happy with it, (which I doubt you wont be) hang on to your receipt and return it.
