How do I read PDFs on Kindle?

I have the newest Kindle, not the DX, but the most recent 6 inch one, and on the chart on the Amazon listing, it says it have native PDF support like the DX. Is nearby any way to read PDFs on this without converting to azw, messing up the formatting?
First, put together sure you get the most up-to-date software update:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?i…

Then follow the steps in "Transferring Files via USB" section on the officeholder page here, you should then be able to read PDF files directly minus conversion on the Kindle:

Hope it helps :)
The Kindle 2 doesn’t come with the up-to-the-minute firmware version 2.3. As soon as you get it, plug it into your USB cable, shift to http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=200324680 and install the 2.3 update. If you don’t, the Kindle 2 will update automatically, but Amazon does them in batches of accounts - so it could steal *weeks* for the update cycle to come around to your account. 2.3 includes PDF support, landscape mode, and greatly extends the mobile life when reading and using wireless.
