As a podcast junkie, I like the number of books that are available on kindle that are not on the other hand in print.
I want to know how much internet access it has. People I have hear on podcasted interviews that have the kindle liked it.
The fact that I can try one before I buy it and the price hold been keeping me from buying one but if you only pay once and bring free internet that might make it worth the money.
This web comic really makes me want one. and when my wife complains nearly how many books I buy even with a teen who reads within the house.
If I could due Facebook, twitter, YA, and podiobooks.com in addition to text books, I would so consider it. Source(s): http://xkcd.com/548/
I honestly imagine its a waste of money. I agree it's convenient, but with a pricetag like that (260?!?!) and the certainty that you have to pay for each book you download...it's means of access cheaper to go to a second hand bookstore (or even a new bookstore) and find what you're looking at for a fraction of the cost, save the same amount of money. and plus i like owning books, i love the smell of different books, i like dog ear-ing page, i like writing things in the margins. the kindle sort of kills adjectives of the small joys i get out of book ownership.
I love my Kindle 2
This is the first time I have ever tried an e-reader of any kind. I just love the Kindle 2. It is so trouble-free to use! I am a user of bifocal lenses, so it is nice to be able to adjust the font size to fit my vision with or short glasses.
Downloading a book is quite fast and simple. I am exceedingly grateful to not have to go to a store for my reading material. This is a great bonus!
I bought the leather cover for 29.99. It is especially sturdy and protects the Kindle 2 well. It is definitely a must have.
I also get the protective skin for the back of the Kindle 2 and the screen saver. I want my Kindle 2 to finishing forever!
Reading with the Kindle 2 is a pure joy! The page turning is quite speedy. I have found the book selections to be more than adequate for my reading preferences.
It is such a straightforwardness to take the Kindle 2 anywhere. It can slip into a purse or a tote easily.
I highly recommend it to anyone who is into reading. You will not regret this purchase! Source(s): http://www.blogpok.com/kindle-2-amazons-…
