I love my Kindle 2! I love to read, but lately I had stopped reading because my Eye Doctor restricted my reading due to poor eyesight and headache. My solution? I bought a Kindle 2 and use the large print option and when my eyes get really tired I use the text-to-voice factor. It is amazing! I'm still sad at the fact that I am losing my eye sight at an alarming rate (I am with the sole purpose 35 yrs) At least I know that I will continue to enjoy books for a long time gratitude to my Kindle.
I highly recommend the Kindle 2!!
Yes, I own Kindle 2 and I like it very much. I approaching the text-to-speech function especially, which means I can keep my eyes free and hands carrying nil, but "reading" books. It is also much improved compared to Kindle 2.

What wonder is this in our modern age?
About a week ago I received my Kindle2. Amazon is an amazing company which I have valued for several years. Now my experience of reading is transformed and I own some insight into our modern age. When I was a child, I loved to read books and read the newspaper every day. As I grew elder, had more anxiety and a little bit of attention deficit, my reading habits wane for lack of time and competing attractions such as television, work and daily chores.
Enter the Kindle2, the first magazine I have used. The first thing I downloaded and read was a copy of the Sunday Washington Post. I haven't ever purchased the Washington Post. Frequently, I read the New York Times Online, but the experience doesn't contest the Kindle. I am willing to pay the seventy-five cents for the better reading experience. I take this reader everywhere. I read when my computer is warm up, I read when I have breaks at work, I read when there are commercials on television; surrounded by short, I read much more than I ever have since childhood.
Perhaps my reading skills have deteriorated over the years, but I have discovered something which may be historic to newspaper publishers. I value the content in the Fourth Estate: television news is frankly putrid. Even the best television report (News Hour) does not compare to the quality of good print journalism. But even though I read on the Kindle2 for at least an hour respectively day, it took three days to get through one copy of the Washington Post. Granted, I started reading other periodicals, but the issue is that as much as I might approaching to, I don't know how I could become a daily reader of a newspaper again. I am likely to buy one or two copies of different the media per week. The decline of the daily newspaper, at least for me, have to do with the feeling of being overwhelmed beside the sheer volume of stuff to read. It is very important to me that the daily broadsheet continue to exist; the daily record of our lives contained by community creates our identity as a people. With the Kindle, I can buy individual copies of several newspapers which I would not otherwise read each month. No newsprint to throw out. I preserve what I want to save conventiently. I have Kindle 2 and I love it. No glitches so far at all. I've read probably 5 books since I got it and it have performed flawlessly. They used a technology for the screen which makes the get the impression of reading very much like reading a book. My eyes do not tired even after some long hours of reading. And I can store all my favorite books into this single device, and take them along with me no matter I go anywhere.
