Anyone beside an Amazon Kindle?

What is your opinion of it?

I love to read, and I've played with these things a lot and they're awesome, but I'm worried I'd miss the idea of actually having a book in my hand. Is it worth the $400?
Answers:
I have one and I love it. They used a technology for the screen which make the feel of reading very much like reading a book. My eyes do not tired even after some long hours of reading. And I can store adjectives my favorite books into this single device, and carry them along with me no matter I travel anywhere.

I'll suggest you to read some actual customer reviews of people owning the Kindle to have your decision:

Kindle books are cheaper than actual books, so it is already a big saver if you read a lot of books. You can check the price of Kindle books here:

And check the customer reviews of Kindle 2 and you should hold a better idea:

I think it is just a matter of mannerism. When you use the Kindle more, you will get used to reading in it. It is designed such that when we read it, it is just approaching reading text on a paper. And I think you know Kindle books are cheaper than actual books? If you read profoundly, it will be a great saver. There has been some info that if you purchased 70 Kindle books, the money saved will cover the price of the Kindle device.

I've used Kindle 2 for a couple of days and I really like it. I like its wishy-washy weight and slim size so I can bring it with me every time I go out. And I love the text-to-speech function, which process I can keep my eyes and hands free while "reading" books. It really helps utilizing my time and efficacy.

IMO, no. In my rich, spoiled friend's view, yes... Really, though, its much better to just read from a book... although you do save trees...
