Does anyone know how masses books the Kindle 1 can hold?
I have the first kindle and i have 9 books and i bought a book, but it won't send it very soon and I don't know why!! Help!!

I thought it was around 340..... and the Kindle 2 I believe can hold around 3,000 maybe, but I also know that the Kindle 1 can expand it's memory if I'm remembering correct... so get a memory card, but I KNOW it can hold more than 9 books otherwise it would be total crap.
There must be something wrong next to the network, the book, or your Kindle. Perhaps you didn't pay properly, maybe the book be unavailable or maybe something was wrong near the network... did you shut the Kindle off while it was downloading the book?

Okay a correction, the Kindle can hold 200 non-illustrated titles, and can be expanded next to a SD memory card, the Kindle 2 can hold approximately 1,500 titles but it has no SD slot and so cannot expand its memory.
im not familiar with the "kindle." is it some big-hearted of website to store books? i'll edit back once you answer =]
