Any one have problems next to an Amazon Kindle 2 display ability?
the upper half of the screen has blank spots and horizontal and vertical stripes. Out of the box smaller amount than 48 hours and went bad while sitting on a desk top. I was not even near. I went to show it to a friend and it was screwed.

If you bought it from someone, not a store or an official site, next I'd say you got scammed.
Most likely someone used it and dropped it. I can't put in the picture you to take it apart or how to fix it since the screen uses new technology that I don't really know how to use. Sorry.

I guess you mean the Kindle with color screen, but not color luggage. Probably, but I think it will not happen so soon. Kindle DX is announced to be out this summer, and I think it will be moderately a period for the color version to come...
