Did you similar to the Kindle?

My dad mentioned getting me a Kindle, one of those electronic books. I'm 13, and I love to read. I go the public library weekly, and call me a nerd but I really look forward to it. I especially love to read the classics.

But I also read like mad of books that are a series, and I buy two or three books a month that are the latest installment of a series. I'm running out of space for my books!

Whenever I'm on the computer for two long, I get a really bad headache, but I've be told the Kindle is completely different.

What is your opinion on the Kindle?
Answers:
get it...............like you said..you dont enjoy enough space for your books

itll solve that problem!
It is definitely worth it. If you don't have space for books, there is a review mentioning that you can give the purchased ebook in Amazon and just download when needed, even if the Kindle don't have satisfactory space for it:

Plus there are lots of free kindle books in public domain available on Amazon, so may save you some time from going to the library:

I'm a Kindle 2 owner. Kindle 2 uses a special e-ink technology which make reading on it just close to reading on a piece of paper. So even for long hours of reading I feel fine with it. Of course, it is other suggested to take a 5 minutes break for each one or two hours.

And if you buy a lot of books, it will be a good as Kindle books are cheaper than the actual books. There has been a calculation that on average, if you purchased 70 Kindle books, the good on books can already cover the price of Kindle itself. You can check some Kindle books for classics here and see:

I'll say the best place to check is the actual customer review from Amazon. There are plenty of information out there and you should be capable of decide whether it is worth to purchase one.

I don't close to Kindle.

I love books. I love holding them and turning the pages. I love having my books on the shelf.

I find it disturbing, too, that as Kindle turns the page, it sort of sparks or flashes. Enough so that I wonder if people beside epilepsy can use it. I found it really distracting and annoying.

I think I would use Kindle to read magazines and maybe the occasional tabloid, but I prefer my books printed on paper between two hard covers.

Go to Amazon and read the reviews. If you google "kindle review," you can find a number of blogs that natter about the device. Source(s): Writer/Editor
I've heard its great for traveling. Also, think of how easy it will be to lug around your books once you start reading more classic novel in English class!
I don't have one, but personally, I'd prefer to enjoy a nice, big, hard book in my hand. Plus, I'm more credible to lose the Kindle than I am to lose my book.
Upsides of the Kindle:
1. Less paper used - ecological and save space
2. Easier to travel with - no need to pack a bunch of books
3. Wide range of reading fabric available at your fingertips

Downsides of the Kindle:
1. Expensive, plus books are expensive (I'm a big buyer of used books - sometimes I get a book for 25 cents that would be $10 on the Kindle)
2. Artificial - there's nothing like holding an actual book contained by your hands
3. Can't lend or give books to friends or family if they're surrounded by DRM files on your Kindle.
4. Battery-dependent reading - have you ever had your MP3 player die in the middle of a long trip? It sucks, but at lowest you have a book to read. Oh, wait, your Kindle battery died too? 'Nuff said.
5. It may be a simulated dissertation screen, but it's still a digital screen - the Kindle is not going to be as nice to your eyes as a book.
6. No night insubstantial - with a digital reader, you'd think a built-in light or backlight point for night reading would be a no-brainer, but nothing doing.
7. Can't mark up your favorite books next to underlinings and margin notes.

I've toyed with buying a Kindle for a couple years. I would hold one if I could get a free eBook copy of all of the books I already own, and a guarantee that any books I buy, bright or used, would be available on my Kindle as well as the hard copy. Alas, we're not there however, and probably never will be there, and I don't have the patience to scan several hundred thousand page on a scanner...
