Sony PRS 505, 700, or Kindle?
Unless there is super awesome evidence for Kindle (other than wireless) I think I'd prefer a Sony, more so because they look more sleek and I can run out and buy one today at Borders. Do you have a 700? Is the eyeshade as horrible as some reviews say? How about a 505? Does it freeze up a lot? Please minister to.

My vote goes to Kindle 2. I own it and I like it very much. There is a comparison of the two here:

Other than wireless, more content remnant is also an important factor. You may check a review in Amazon from a person call N. Jenkins, who is a fan of Sony reader but vote for Kindle because of this factor:

I have a Sony 500 and I love it. I've never had the slightest problem near it. However, I've had it for years and got it for half price. If I be buying today, I'd get the Kindle. Wireless is one reason. The more important function is that I trust Amazon more than Sony to get and keep ebooks in stock. The Sony eBook store is truthfully limited selection wise. Additionally, the Apple Apps Store have a free Kindle application. This means that if you buy a book for the Kindle, you can download it to both your Kindle and to your iTouch or iPhone. That's a wonderful plus that I would kill for. Source(s): Sony 500 and iPhone owner
