How and where on earth do I copy PRC ebooks to a Kindle Reader using a USB cable?
Someone I know wants to know how to transfer ebooks she got from a free site (yes, they are legit and outdated novels out of copyright). There are no DRM issues either and all the ebooks are minus restrictions and in the PRC file format. She got them from manybooks.lattice . I do not have access to the Kindle but I will have to relay the info to them.
They said they attempted to do so either. They claimed to hook up the device to the PC and to copy/transfer the files to the Kindle. However, they vote they cannot find the ebooks on the Kindle after copying them to it.
Is there a special folder to use on the Kindle for PRC ebook files? Is there something you have to set on the Kindle for it to certificate ebooks transfered through the USB connection? Is something I don't know that is essential. Where exactly should PRC files be copied to on the Kindle.
"> Plug in the USB to your computer and afterwards your Kindle. On the PC go to Your Computer and you should see the Kindle listed as one of your drives. Inside is a folder called Documents, and it is within here were all your books are stored. According to the user guide, it should recognize PRZ format. I enjoy accessed this folder before, but never tried this file nonetheless. Source(s): http://s3.amazonaws.com/kindle/Kindle2_U…
