A few kindle question...?

i'm debating on getting a kindle. i like the idea of having so frequent books with me at one time!
but i do have a few questions roughly speaking it before i get one.
1-do they sell kindle covers or cases?
2-can you put EBook on a kindle? close to the ones you buy from ebay or get with your college text books.
3-also can you add on adobe reader things to your kindle?
4-is amazon the only place to buy kindle books?
thanks for any information you can provide!

Let me try to answer your questions:

1. Yes, see here for the choices:

2. Yes. It can work on both Kindle 2 and Kindle DX. See the third paragraph here for the Kindle 2 (this review says it cannot reach gmail or yahoo, but it in fact can. you can use the Kindle to send email too):

3. Same as question 2

4. Yes for Kindle books, because the Kindle format is officially owned by Amazon. Still, you can buy other ebooks contained by formats like PDF, DOC, MOBI, etc. and put them onto the Kindle.
1. Yes. I use this one and it is the best. You can read some reviews and you'll know:

2. Yes. You can put files in formats similar to PDF, DOC, MOBI, PRC, TXT, HTML, etc. to the Kindle.

3. Yes, PDF is the file format of Adobe Reader. Kindle DX can read PDF format natively, while Kindle 2 can read PDF files through conversion. See here about PDF conversion of the Kindle 2:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?i…

4. Yes. But there are some websites providing free books for the Kindle. Like this one, it provides over 20,000 free books available surrounded by Kindle format:

I love my Kindle 2 very much. If you are thinking of buying a Kindle, I'll say get it and you won't regret. Since Amazon provide books for the Kindle cheaper than actual books, it have saved me quite a lot of money. Right in a minute I've read over 10 books with the Kindle, and I really like the idea that I can bring and store adjectives the books with the handy device. Besides, it uses the e-ink technology, so even I read with the device for long hours, I don't discern tired. My only complaint is the white case, right now adjectives the Kindles are in white color... I think it will be cool if I can have a black or gaping blue color Kindle ;)

I'll suggest you to read this review from a top reviewer, it outlines quite a lot of benefits of the Kindle and also why it is worth especially at the end of the review:

Hope this help.
1. Yes, this is the one I use for my Kindle 2:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?i…

2. Yes you can. Here are the full steps from official page on how to do it, and what formats of ebooks the Kindle supports:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?i…

3. Yes. Adobe Reader files are in PDF format. Just see question 2 in the order of how to read PDF files on the Kindle.

4. Yes. But I think Amazon is good enough for you to find books already. I remember there are 270,000 Kindle books when I bought my Kindle a few months ago, but now it is 340,000 books. Amazon is doing very all right on providing contents of the Kindle.

Since you're deciding to get a Kindle, I'll also encourage you to read these reviews. They are the reviews I read when I settled to buy the Kindle:

Finally, you are lucky that Amazon just announced a price slash on the Kindle 2. It is now selling $60 cheaper than the price I got mine. So embezzle the chance...

Hope it helps :) Source(s): http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00154J… (Kindle 2 sales page)
