Are near any netbooks or notebook next to screen similar to the kindle?
I have several online classes with material surrounded by PDF format and I am looking for a screen that is easy on the eyes approaching the Amazon Kindle. anybody know of one out there?

Not really but you can resize the font to your exact liking. While on a document or website, most of them you can hold CTRL+scroll wheel to zoom in. The Kindle is a black and white LCD that doesn't work surrounded by the sun very well whereas the laptop might.
The peak of netbooks or notebooks are different from the screen of the Kindle. The screen of notebook must have backlight, while the Kindle uses the e-ink technology designed for long hours reading and it doesn't have backlight. See a short article here about this:

Would you consider to acquire the Kindle instead? If the PDF files don't contain complicated charts or tables, it can be read on the Kindle 2. Otherwise, it'll need the Kindle DX to read complicated PDF files. I've given more of my opinions on the Kindle here:
