Pros and Cons of Amazons Kindle and Kindle 2. Plus which one is better?
plus i have heard that kindle 2 does not have a removable freestyle pack, so how does this affect the overall quality of the product?

I'm a Kindle 2 owner. Kindle 2 is much better for its slim size, larger screen, bigger storage, keypad enhancement, etc. It also added within the text-to-speech function. I like this function very much, as it simply means I can "read" books when my hand or eyes are kept busy on other things. You can ask your mom to try using the function when she is cooking!
