What do you guys suggest of Kindle, an electronic reading device?
For those of you who like to read and have the words in your hand rather than on a screen, what do you think of this? Would you buy ?

ITS BAAAD
I have looked at it, and I actually get to look at a 2.0 model the other day. I wouldn't buy it myself - I find something comforting about having an actual book to hold while I'm reading. I agree beside you totally on being able to turn pages by mitt. I actually brought this up in class the other day - division of the reason I prefer actual paper books is that they don't require electricity, and they can much better survive being dropped, getting raining, or even being thrown across the room if necessary.
I'm torn.
I really estimate it's an innovative idea, and the thought of just THINKING of a book and being competent to buy it instantly is definitely appealing. From what I have read the screen is confident on the eyes and the feel of it is also nice. I also wouldn't mind holding that over a book (the weight of a book can be awkward depending on your position. You're always aggression to hold the pages open).
However, I don't like the idea of not enjoy the physical thing in my hands. You can't lend books over Kindle, and I don't know what will come up to them if my Kindle broke, the server that stores the books crashes, or anything like that. The whole official hub-bub about buying things electronically (music is like this for me, too) is just a big mystery to me and I would prefer to buy an actual book and KNOW that it's mine and I can do what I want near it. And, of course, having my little library has its charm. I newly don't like the fact that if something happens to the technology I lose adjectives of the books I purchased.
I agree with you but it does sound appealing. It could hurt your eyes for starring at a screen so much. Not adjectives books are available so I'd rather buy the book.
I do not have one, however really want one.
My concerns are that my eyes would hurt from looking at a eyeshade all day.
I do like to buy and collect adjectives the books I read.
However I am trying to care about the environment and this is a really great hypothesis to save wasting paper.
Although I would still purchase some books on paper after I buy them on my kindle so that I can retrieve them.
i think it is too small bad for your eyes but kinda cool cuz u could read any book u want
