Amazon's Kindle. UK Release Date or predictions?
When Amazon released the Kindle 2, they said they were working towards a worldwide release. I really want one, but it's not worth shipping from US without 3G. Any thoughts on a UK release date?

No one knows. It be said to have plan to go outside the U.S. since the Kindle 1 is released, but never hear anything about this from Amazon. Right very soon you even cannot buy the Kindle without a U.S. credit card...
I think the major benefit of the Kindle is have the wireless access function that allows you to get books and access the internet anywhere. If you are in UK, I'll suggest you to get the Sony reader instead. Quite like mad of people like it more for better PDF support when compared to the Kindle 2.
