Can i achieve an e-book downloaded from amazon to my kindle and read it overseas?

do they charge extra cost for international customers? or do they cost the same no matter which country the file is individual downloaded?
Answers:
Hi, you can download ebooks in the US individual (directly to your kindle), or if you are somewhere else, you can download them to your computer and transfer them to your kindle.
But there is also a kindle wireless coverage map: http://www.mobileereaders.com/Amazon_Kin…
Hope this helps.
You can *read* it oversees, but to download it wirelessly Amazon requires someone to allow them to do that (i.e. Sprint surrounded by the USA). They are seeing if they can give a similar service in other countries, but I haven't heard any nouns yet. That said, you can donwload your books to a computer and then upload it to your Kindle via USB. That is free.
If you are outside the United States, you cannot download ebooks directly to the Kindle because currently the wireless network is only available in the U.S. However, you can download the ebooks to any computer next to internet access, then copy them to the Kindle through USB cable. This is free of charge, provided that you already purchased the e-books.

Be noted of one thing, that you must buy the Kindle and the Kindle books with a U.S. credit card, see the concluding third question below in FAQ on Amazon Kindle for details. The problem can be solved if you have a U.S. credit card, or you fashion all the purchase through a friend with it.

Below is how the stuffs of download to computer then copy to the Kindle work. Hope it help.

Personal Documents

Kindle makes it easy to take your personal documents next to you, eliminating the need to print. Each Kindle has a distinctive and customizable e-mail address. You can set your unique email address on your Manage Your Kindle page. This allows you and your approved contacts to e-mail Word, PDF documents, and pictures wirelessly to your Kindle for a small per document fee--currently only 10c per document. Kindle supports wireless delivery of unprotected Microsoft Word, PDF, HTML, TXT, JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP, PRC and MOBI files.

You can email your PDFs wirelessly to your Kindle. Due to PDF's fixed layout format, some complex PDF files may not format correctly on your Kindle.

If you are not contained by a wireless area or would like to avoid the fee, you can transport attachments to "name"(a)free.kindle.com to be converted and e-mailed to your computer at the e-mail address associated with your Amazon.com account login. You can then verbs the document to your Kindle using your USB connection. For example, if your Kindle email address is Jay(a)Kindle.com, send your attachments to Jay(a)free.kindle.com. why should they charge more for an overseas customer? adjectives it is a digital download. you would just have to pay them within us dollars unless amazon takes international credit cards.

or use paypal if possible. i think paypal does a money conversion for you.
