Kindle? is there's going to be one surrounded by colour?
There is now a Kindle DX, does anyone know if there is going to be a better version following on in colour?
Answers:
i am unsure of what amazon has planned for the kindle, but if one in color is on paperwork, i hope that dc comics graphic novels will be available for it.
I never hear of any rumor on adding colour to the ereaders. Seems all ebook readers are presently focusing on readability, comfort of reading rather than the colour thing.
Right now I'll still budge for the Kindle 2, because the Kindle DX is quite bulky and not convenient to bring everywhere. The best place to check is the actual customer review on Amazon, see how people read out even the device is still greyscale:

I think it will be some time for Amazon to launch another new reworked copy...
In case you haven't read it, here are the FAQ of the Kindle DX which can give you quite profoundly of infromation about this new device:

Kindle DX will available this summer so I infer the color version might not soon.. Maybe 1 or 2 years. Source(s): http://astore.amazon.com/kindle-.dx-20
Probably not. At least not full color.
The digital paper technology that they use to get such a crisp picture and such a low power consumption doesn't really work resourcefully with colors. You will probably get 16 colors soon and maybe even 256, but you won't take anywhere near the minimum speck for a netbook (16 Million colors).
To do that you need an LCD or OLECD screen.
Kindle DX is coming out this summer, and newer version won't come that hastily. Most likely there must be another competitor before Amazon launch a newer interpretation. Source(s): http://astore.amazon.com/kindle-ereader-…

Can you stifle Wikipedia on the Kindle?
So, I've been hearing all this hype just about Amazons Kindle 2 and how it can view Wikipedia. But can you sign in and edit it? Not worth doing. The Kindle browser is so primitive that editing is not worth the time. The Kindle (v2) is for reading books and some basic, internet surfing capability.
Does the kindle hold piano music?
Thanks! "> Simply... yes. However, you'd be best off with a Kindle DX. It has a larger blind and the sheet music sold on amazon.com is optimized for the Kindle DX.It will still work on the Kindle either way. Source(s): http://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2009/07/sheet-music-comes-to-the-kindle/
