How is the Amazon Kindle so popular? How various books can populace read?
Seriously I don't get the whole Kindle thing..for $400 plus $10 per book, what is the point? I'm not a big reader but even if I be i couldn't imagine reading 2 or 3 books on one trip. Please someone explain this phenomena.

Good give somebody the third degree. I want a "BOOK" in my hands, with quality newspaper pages. Two and three books at a time, how about five at the moment.

The point is that you do not use the Kindle only for trip. You use it to replace paperback books, and even newspaper, magazine, etc. There are many big publishers partnered with Amazon, so they provide electronic subscription cheaper than their original subscription.
