Kindle and Victor streams....know anything nearly them?

I have lost most of my vision and am still in college. I be looking into the Kindle or a victor stream, but I do not want to fork out that money if I cannot get my Texts on it. Does anyone have any experience beside either of them? Is there a way to check if any pf my text are available on them?

Kindle 2 has the text-to-speech function, which means you can "read" books with your ears. I guess this function can oblige you. There is a good review here for you to know more:

To check if any titles are available in Kindle format, just do a scrabble here and you'll see if the corresponding Kindle format is available. Even if the Kindle format is not available, there is a button on Amazon for you to tell the author that you like it within Kindle format, it usually works when there is enough people doing this.
