Can anyone answer the following question aboout the kindle?
1. what is a kindle exactly?
2. how much does it cost?
3. if you have one, can you please explain how you "buy" books? and if so, is it a good product to own?

1. A kindle is like an iPod for books. You download and store a bunch of books and respectively book costs only about $10.00.
2. The Kindle itself is about $300.00 but, paperwork are about $10.00 each.

1. Kindle is a mobile ereader, i.e. you can take it anywhere beside you, it's small and you can download a lot of books to it.
2. Kindle costs around a bit more than $300. Most books cost around $10 for Kindle.
3. You buy books using mobile phone "wireless lines" or whatever it's called. Connecting to these is free. You a short time ago have to pay for the book you buy. If you aren't in the US, you can download books on the internet, next to your Kindle.

I have a Kindle 2 and I love it. For me, it be definitely worth buying.
