It looks like they have everything from my favorite fantasy author avalable.
He's Terry Brooks.
Technically, I think(I'm not done reading them all) I assume they're not medieval stories. But...
There's the Sword of Shanarra. It's the first of a series. They're in a world after some sort of Great war, it's very medieval, swords and horses and tricks. It follows a young man named Shea who is Half-Human, Half-Elf. He's living with his uncle at the own flesh and blood inn when this druid shows up to get him to come on a quest for some reason that the druid won't tell. You seize a good classic quest book. The druid uses his magic to put together a band of citizens, A couple of Elves, a dwarf or two, some warriors and Shea and his cousin. And they're off to save the world. But not a soul told them that.
The Shannara series is really great and Long. It follows Shea's descendants. Lots of them. For ages. You get to recognize family name as time goes by.
He also has two other series: The Landover books, Starting with "Magic Kingdom for sale-sold." That one is in the region of a Chicago lawyer who buys Kingship of a magic Kingdom. It's a bit broken when he gets in that and he has to figure out how to fix it with solitary the help of a poor wizard, a man turned into a dog, two kobolds and a fairy girl.
The other is the Knight of the word. They're a bit more strange. Modern and futuristic-ish. About this guy who lives in presently and when he sleeps he's in the future. And if he uses his magic immediately he can't use it when he's asleep. He's trying to prevent what happens when he sleeps from actually happening. Trying to prevent a world where on earth darkness has taken over and everything is bad and humanity is dying past its sell-by date.
