Does the Kindle accommodate to Teen reader?
Does the "Kindle Store" have books that would be considered the "Teen" genre. I don't want to waste up to $450 for an e-book that doesn't provide any books I would want to read. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm 15 years old and I like my Kindle 2 very much. Actually within is a wide variety of book selections from the the Kindle store, and I am never afraid that I cannot find a right book to read. Often, I grab hold of some free Kindle books from Amazon, many of them are very good read and I can let go my time by getting them free of charge to my Kindle without going to the library...

I've managed to get some textbook on my Kindle too, so it saves me from carrying the heavy weights. However, right now nearby is only some textbooks available for the Kindle. It is said that eventually there will be 70% of textbook available for the Kindle, because Amazon has signed the contract with 3 main textbook publishers. It will be the trend eventually...

There is no listing of books that can be considered the "Teen" genre, per se, on the Kindle store, but in that are many books of interest to teens.
If you go to the online Kindle store here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fs%3Fie%3DUTF8%26x%3D15%26ref%255F%3Dnb%255Fss%255Fkinc%26y%3D21%26field-keywords%3Dteen%2520books%26url%3Dsearch-alias%253Ddigital-text&tag=thecasveh-20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=390957
and type in the words "teen books" surrounded by the search section, you should see quite a few titles pop up.
The ultimate time I checked, there were about 674 titles.

There are a broad variety of books in the Kindle store, and the number of books available is kept on increasing. When I get my Kindle 2 two or three months ago, I remember in that are only 270,000 books available in Kindle format but right now it is over 300,000... You may want to check surrounded by different categories of the Kindle store, but I know here is a category for children and teens:

Since you are considering to get one, let me communicate you some of my opinions. I've to say I love my Kindle 2 very much. It help me utilize my time and improve my efficiency. Before I owned the Kindle, waiting time like the time when I'm waiting for my friend or waiting for shuttle bus or anything is simply wasted. Now I only need to bring the Kindle 2 along next to me.
Another thing I like the most is the text-to-speech function, which means I can "read" books lacking even holding or looking at the Kindle. Now I like to use this function when I've myself busy on some boring things, like when I'm on the step machine or doing some housework...
I close to reading a lot, and at the beginning I missed a bit on the feeling of reading books. But very soon I love to hold the Kindle, and the e-ink seems to work very well, it really close to reading books... Now I often read with the Kindle for several hours but I don't feel tired...
This is my judgment and hope it helps. And I've bookmarked an article about how to get most out of investment of the Kindle here:

I was thinking of getting one but was wondeering how people's experiences with them be and if it's worth the cost. I own the Kindle 2 and I like it totally much. It is worth, especially for Kindle books being cheaper than actual books. It has saved me pretty a lot of money on buying books...
Sony PRS 505, 700, or Kindle?
Unless there is super awesome evidence for Kindle (other than wireless) I think I'd prefer a Sony, more so because they look more sleek and I can run out and buy one today at Borders. Do you have a 700? Is the eyeshade as horrible as some reviews say? How about a 505? Does it freeze up...
