Buying Amazon kindle books from overseas?
I've got a Amazon kindle, but I happen to reside and live outside the US. How can I purchase kindle books from amazon.com? Is it possible to buy a gift card from Amazon, and use it to buy the Kindle Books?

Sign up for or sign within to your Amazon.com account and register your kindle if you haven't already done so. You will need a credit/debit card with a US address...
Select the book you want to buy at the kindle store and click to buy.

Go to the " Manage Your Kindle" section of your account.
scroll down to "Your advice."
Identify the book you just bought, click on the drop down menu and send it to your computer.
Hook up your Kindle to your computer with the USB cable.
Drag and drop the book into the Kindle folder...the book is in a minute on your kindle...disconnect kindle from computer and read book.

No, endowment card can't solve the problem. You need to have your Amazon account using a United States shipping address next to US credit card. See the question "Is Kindle available to customers outside the United States?" from the link below for details:
