Do you own a Kindle? If you do, what is your experience near it.?
I've been wanting to get a Kindle for a while now. I close to the convenience of it. I just want to know if it will be as enjoyable as reading a book.

My mom has a Kindle, and she's obsessed. She finds the Kindle more convenient than buying books that lapse up stacking up in the corner. She gets books really easily by buying them on Amazon ON HER KINDLE! The convenience of it is its compactness and that you can buy books straight sour of it.
If you are an avid reader, I would definitely recommend the Kindle! It's very convenient. Source(s): my mother's obsession
I have one. I personally like it. It be very easy on the eyes, and its is not like looking at a lighted blind which sometimes makes my eyes water. This was much better because I could stand staring at the entity for long periods of time. Amazon also makes a larger Kindle now which is great because you can see more paper per page and diagrams show up bigger.
You are also able to purchase books online and re-download them at any time. So if you kindle only holds a certain number of books, you can still download something different and upload it to your device. There is really no restrain to the amount of material you can have on the thing.
So for short, I approaching the thing.
I own the Kindle 2, so let me impart you some of my opinions. I've to say I I love it! I think I've read over 20 books next to my Kindle, no glitches so far!
I like reading and at the beginning I missed a bit on the feeling of reading books. But very soon I love to hold the Kindle, the e-ink seems to work very well, it is really approaching reading books... Now I often read with the Kindle for several hours but I don't feel tired...
One of the reason I love my Kindle is that it has helped me improve greatly on my efficiency and utilize my time. Before I have the Kindle, waiting time like when I'm waiting for friends or waiting for shuttle bus or some item like that is simply wasted. Now I only need to bring the Kindle 2 along with me, and all my favorite books are inside it. Another item I like the most is the text-to-speech function, which means I can "read" books without even holding or looking at the Kindle. Now I approaching to use this function when I've myself busy on some boring things, say when I'm on the step machine or doing some housework...
And just within case you don't know, Kindle books, magazines and newspapers are cheaper than the actual tabloid version. Amazon also provides quite a lot free or hugely cheap books. I remember I read these reviews about the benefits of the Kindle when I decided to buy it:

Finally, you are lucky that Amazon recently announced a price slash on the Kindle 2. It is in a minute selling $60 cheaper than the price I got my Kindle... So take the chance.
Hope it help :) Source(s): http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00154J… (Kindle 2 after price slash)
I love my Kindle 2 vastly much. If you are thinking of getting a Kindle, I'll say get it and you won't regret. Since Amazon provide books for the Kindle cheaper than actual books, it has save me quite a lot of money. Right now I've read over 10 books near the Kindle, and I really like the idea that I can bring and store all paperwork with the handy device. Besides, it uses the e-ink technology, so even I read with the device for long hours, I don't feel tired. My individual complaint is the white case, right now all the Kindles are surrounded by white color... I think it will be cool if I can have a black or deep blue color Kindle ;)
I'll suggest you to read this review from a top reviewer, it outlines relatively a lot of benefits of the Kindle and also why it is worth especially at the end of the review:

Hope this helps.
