What is the amazon kindle/how does it work and is it worth my 350$?

Answers:
Its like a mitt held computer book. You put download all of your books onto it and you can have as many as you want surrounded by the little hand held and read them whenever wherever, =] as for the price, i personally don't necessitate a fancy gadget to read off of, but it really makes it easier if you really have seriously of different things your reading at one time, like if your in college for example. Hope this helps. moral luck
I love my Kindle 2 very much. If you are thinking of buying one, I'll say carry it and you won't regret. Since Amazon provides books for the Kindle cheaper than actual books, it has saved me quite plentifully of money. Right now I've read over 10 books with the Kindle, and I really like the opinion that I can bring and store all the books with the handy device. Besides, it uses the e-ink technology, so even I read near the device for long hours, I don't feel tired. My only complaint is the white case, right presently all the Kindles are in white color... I think it will be cool if I can enjoy a black or deep blue color Kindle ;)

There is an article here talking about how the Kindle works:

I'll suggest you to read this review too, it outlines rather a lot of benefits of the Kindle:

I think it is best to read some reviews from actual owners of the Kindle who uses it, you'll know how they utilize the thing and how it is worth in their eyes, consequently you can decide whether it is worth yourself. I suggest you to read this review, it is the best one I've read:

I own the Kindle 2, so let me give you some of my opinions. I've to speak I love it! I think I've read over 20 books with my Kindle, no glitches so far!

It is a device that you can hold many books and you can read other on the device just like reading books. So you can replace any the heavy weights near just the tiny device. In addition, buying books on the Kindle is cheaper than actual books, so it will actually be positive money in long term if you like to read books.

I love my Kindle because it have helped me improve a lot on my efficacy and utilize my time. Before I owned the Kindle, waiting time like when I'm waiting for friends or waiting for shuttle bus or some thing like explicitly simply wasted. Now I just need to bring the Kindle 2 along beside me. Another thing I like the most is the text-to-speech function, which means I can "read" books in need even holding or looking at the Kindle. Now I like to use this function when I've myself busy on some boring things, say when I'm on the step machine or doing some housework...

I close to reading and at the beginning I missed a bit on the feeling of reading books. But now I love to hold the Kindle, the e-ink seem to work very well, it is really like reading books... Now I normally read with the Kindle for several hours but I don't feel tired...

And I remember I read these reviews when I decided to buy it:
