What do you deem of Amazon's Kindle reading device?
At first I was interested because it would be nice to be able to carry around adjectives of my texts on one little device... but then i thought to myself that reading off something electronic won't ever quality the same as turning the pages and feeling the broadsheet myself. I also am the kind of person who likes to own their books. Does anyone here own kindle? What are your thoughts on it?
Answers:
I own the Kindle 2, so let me give you some of my opinions.
For the idea of reading, I think it is a matter of habbit. I like reading and at the initiation I missed a bit on the feeling of reading books. But now I love to hold the Kindle, the e-ink seems to work extraordinarily well, it is really like reading books... Now I often read beside the Kindle for several hours but I don't feel tired...
I think I've read even more than I've in days gone by since I owned the Kindle. I've read over 20 books with my Kindle, no glitches so far!
I love my Kindle because it has helped me add to a lot on my efficiency and utilize my time. Before I owned the Kindle, waiting time like when I'm waiting for friends or waiting for shuttle bus or some article like that is simply wasted. Now I basically need to bring the Kindle 2 along with me. Another thing I resembling the most is the text-to-speech function, which means I can "read" books without even holding or looking at the Kindle. Now I like to use this function when I've myself busy on some boring things, utter when I'm on the step machine or doing some housework...
For books, Kindle books are cheaper than that of actual books, many new books are sold at $9.99 or below. Amazon also provides rather a lot of free or very cheap books. I've previously bookmarked a good article chitchat about this:

And I remember I read this review when I decide to buy the Kindle 2:
