Can you buy kindle books contained by other language? (Like German)?
My German mother wants to buy a Kindle in a few months, and I was wondering if she'll know how to buy german books that are hard to find here in the states

I feel you can im not that positive though. I have seen German books on line at resembling amazon and other book stores websites, like cornelia funke's inkspell and inkheart, ive seen those in German. So don't see why they wont hold a German selection for the kindle. hope i helped!

It is not bad for a few months' wait, as Amazon freshly slashed the price of the Kindle 2. It is $60 cheaper than the price when I bought mine.
