Those who own one compare the Kindle against Sony Reader.?

I think both have their pros and cons, but in nonspecific the Kindle has more functions. Like this review comes from a user who has got both:

I own the Reader and, as I got it up to date for half price, it's fine. However, if I were buying and paying full price, I'd get the Kindle. Downloading directly to the device is a huge factor. The reality that there's a Kindle app for the iPhone is also very attractive. Also, I trust Amazon to support the Kindle. I don't have nearly that level of trust next to Sony.
