Kindle 2 vs. Sony PRS-505?

I was about to buy the kindle 2, but then I hear about how they could take books back anytime they looked-for. I then turned to the sony PRS-505. The sony is about $40 less than the kindle. I dont involve the wireless whispernet technology the kindle 2 has to offer, but it would have be nice to have. In the sony book store books cost more than they do in the kinle store, but with the kindle you are predetermined to only kindle 2 ebooks. I like that i get to amass the $40 with the sony.... but which one should I get? Sony PRS-505 or the Kindle 2?
Answers:
Yes, the recent case of withdrawing published book is just an exceptional covering, and it rarely happens. I'll still suggest you to get the Kindle instead of the Sony Reader. Read this review here from a user who owned both device, to know more:

I own the Kindle 2 and I approaching it very much. It is better than Sony Reader because Amazon provide good content support, and the number of books available in Kindle format is kept on increasing. Sony Reader, however, masses users complaint that it is difficult to find suitable books. Other benefits of the Kindle over Sony Reader include the free wireless internet access, and the text-to-speech function.

And actually there are many ebooks sold surrounded by PDF format at various places on the Internet, and you can put them to your Kindle to read. So even though Amazon is the only Kindle books provider, there is still lots of other places that you can buy ebooks readable on the Kindle. This site is one of the examples where on earth you can get over 20,000 free books available for the Kindle:

Recently, Amazon take posterior the Kindle books "1984" and "Animal Farm" just because they are pirate version. The publisher indeed doesn't have the right to publish the book. So one-sidedly I think it is quite reasonable for them to give somebody a lift the book back and issue a refund back to the book buyers.

I'm a Kindle 2 owner. I don't feel Amazon can take any book back if there aren't any well-mannered reasons. I personally have bought over 20 Kindle books, and a few my friends also have the Kindle, but we haven't met such a problem so far... I'll say it is just some exceptional suitcase.

Back to the choice, I'll say you should definitely go for the Kindle as it have so much benefits over the Sony Reader. Here is a comparison of it with the latest model of the Sony Reader (actually the previous model PRS-505 is quite similar to this most modern model):

The advantage of the Kindle over Sony Reader include free wireless access, more content support, and the text-to-speech function. Yes, Amazon is the only provider for Kindle books, but they are also a very strong provider. It is presently providing over 320,000 books, and the number of books is kept on increasing (I remember there were only 270,000 Kindle books when I bought my Kindle a few months ago). On the other paw, I've heard that some owners of the Sony Reader find difficult in finding books they want, as there are smaller amount books available for it...

I like the text-to-speech function especially, because I can "read" books without even holding or looking at the Kindle. Now I like to use this function when I've myself busy on some boring things, right to be heard when I'm on the step machine or doing some housework...

So my opinion is that the $40 extra definitely worth, as you are bring back more from the Kindle. And I remember I read this review when I decide to buy the Kindle 2:

I am going to purchase any a Kindle from Amazon, or a Sony eReader. Which do you recommend, and why?
I know the Kindle has the wireless download, and more memory. The price is pretty similar, except I can purchase the eReader here in town, which means no shipping charge. Other than that, what are some of the differences, and which...
