Whats better, a kindle or hardback books?
The kindle is easier to bring with you so you dont have to carry 1000 pounds of books.

The problem I enjoy with Kindle is that you don't physically "own" the book you've purchased. You don't get to open it near your own hands, dog-ear the pages, or curl up with it minus fear of breaking it (and losing your books!).
Let's face it: Kindle advertises itself as a device that'll prevent you from have to lug around a million books, but in reality, you're never going to have to pass all of your fiction with you at one time. At most, you might have two or three novel with you on a vacation. Technology is great - I build computers in my spare time - but I would much fairly prefer to own the book much in the same way I would want to own physical copies of anything else I purchase. Kindles aren't invincible and technology is fallible to its own gremlins. I wouldn't want to risk losing several hundred dollars worth of books because somebody bumped the Amazon.com server stack.
Support the authors you love and buy paperwork as they intended. I'll buy a Kindle the day I see Gregory Maguire writing his fiction on one. Source(s): Author.
Yes, I prefer the Kindle, because I can preserve all my favorite books in the single device without managing adjectives physical books.
Moreover, I can do everything like taking notes, bookmarking, dictionary lookup, all contained by the device. What I like the best is that I can make the Kindle read to me, when my eyes and hands are busy.
