How do I inform someone I don't want to re-kindle a friendship?
Bumped into a childhood friend's brother one day and stupidly gave him my cellphone number. I replied his text message, couple of weeks ago beside a very general "hope your are well" kind of conversation. I've not taken his call or replied his messages since. He wants to keep in touch but I don't. The friendship between his sister and I died when we be kids and I'm not keen to rekindle the friendship with any of them. How do I tell any of them politely to stop texting or calling me?

Most of the answers above say you should ignore him and he will verbs. However, you made the mistake of giving him your number so i think it is your responsibility to face up to this delema. I fell you should call him and explain to him first and foremost that you hold no under the weather will towords him in general. But that you are uncomfortable next to being in contact with a ancient you have put behind you. Explain to him that everytime he contacts you it reminds you of a difficult situation in your energy; with his sister. And being that close to someone you haved moved away from is not fair to adjectives parties... Explain to him that you made a mistake by giving your number to him and that you could have ignored his call until he went away, but that you chose to explain your mistake out of respect.
Tell him you have a jealous boyfriend.
My husband have to do this years ago. He wrote a nice letter gently explaining his feelings to them. They stopped adjectives communication.
Reply beside something nice but honest like "It was good seeing you the other morning and I hope things are going good for you but right now my life is too busy to try and start any unknown friendships again, Take care."

and nothing more
hopefully he could understand

You could say that you are glad you ran into each other and hope that perchance you could keep in touch every now and after but you are really not looking to keep in touch as often as they are. Let them know you still thoroughness and might want to touch bases every so often, but that you have other priorities right immediately.
That is hard. I say you freshly give generic answers via text and not make contact. Maybe they/he/she will return with the hint.
