Amazon Kindle Question?
I was thinking of getting the newest version of the Kindle for $299, and I be wondering if it's any good. It's the one that's 6" and has wireless. I was wondering if it works overseas. I live within Germany, so would it work for me? Also, I wouldn't be using the wireless very much (can you just plug it in?), and I've hear they make you pay for the wireless that I wouldn't even be using! Please, help me ASAP!

The wireless internet access is completely FREE of charge for the Kindle inside the United States. Unfortunately, the service isn't available for anywhere outside the United States...
All functions save for wireless will still work though, as you can see in a discussion here:

The Kindle wireless is free, but it doesn't work outside the US.
Consider to have Sony Reader instead, which is the best alternative for the Amazon Kindle. There is a good review here just about the Sony Reader:

You can just get it online from Amazon, they provide reasonable shipping cost.
