How frequent kindle have amazon shipped so far?
if you didn't buy one the first week i think it was back ordered and none hold shipped since the first batch.

Amazon won't say how many AmazonKindles own shipped. They have however announced that all the Amazon Kindels that were first available sold out contained by the first 5 hours.
The AmazonKindle sales page on Amazon.com says that they are out of stock. True, because so many hold been pre-ordered. It will take them a while to fill the pre-orders so it will right to be heard out of stock for some time. Those pre-orders will quietly be filled.
This doesn't directly answer your question around how many AmazonKindles have actually be sold, but I want to help you understand why it will look sold out for a long time and that doesn't mean that they are selling a ton of them.
